1990-1996:
student of Jeszenszky Endre Hungarian Ballet Institute
1996-1999:
student of László Németh Jazz dance instructor
Since 2000:
started Bellydance studies in Hungary and Egypt.

Since 2004:
directing and stage choreographing.
Initially, she started with the first dance company of Hungarian Master Teachers.

2005:
established the first Arabic Folklore Dance Company in Hungary the EFFENDI. The unique mission of the company was to make the art of the Arabic dance culture known and appreciated. Katalin was the first instructor of traditional folklore and taught male and female style folklore dances all over the World. /Vidám Theater/
2005:
II. Soloist prize at the Ahlan Wa Sahlan Bellydance World Cup - Cairo
2010:
established her own fashion brand SCHÄFER FASHION and started touring World wide. She started teaching her unique dance style at International Dance Festivals all over the world and has been invited as a master teacher in more than 25 countries.
2011:
created her first fusion style Virgin Burlesque inspired by the 50s glamour and the middle eastern passionate percussion music.
2014:
The World Dance New York published her first 2 Instructional videos the REFINED SUGAR and the HIP ROMANCE.
Since 2014:
created the Form & Content modern dance-based spiritual dance therapy.
Since 2015:
started performing and teaching her modern Jazz-based fusion style world wide.
"I believe that movement has its own language, that is the most honest in the world. Often, the way we move, tells things about us that we, ourselves may not even be aware of. I am aiming to bring these hidden motives to the surface when I dance, to make the act deeper and more meaningful. My goal is to share this perspective, self-awareness and spiritual growth with my students."
